This month, learn more about ASNT’s Women in NDT (WIN) Council, its objectives,
and how to get involved!
WHAT IS THE WOMEN IN NDT (WIN)
COUNCIL?
The Women in NDT (WIN) Council is an
initiative within the American Society for
Nondestructive Testing (ASNT) dedi-
cated to supporting, advocating for, and
advancing women in the field of nonde-
structive testing (NDT). The WIN chair
is Tracey Wingard and its vice chair is
Amanda Pace.
WHAT IS THE MISSION OF THE WIN
COUNCIL?
The council’s mission is to inspire,
support, and advance women in NDT
through advocacy, providing resources,
creating opportunities, and promoting
professional development in a diverse
and connected community.
WHAT IS THE VISION OF THE WIN
COUNCIL?
The goal of WIN is to inspire women to
recognize and celebrate their contribu-
tions, amplify their voices, and empower
them to excel in the NDT industry.
The WIN Council aligns with ASNT’s
Strategic Plan for career and workforce
development by:
Ñ providing essential tools, resources,
and opportunities for women at all
career stages
Ñ cultivating leadership potential and
Ñ promoting pathways that attract and
retain a diverse and inclusive work-
force in NDT.
WHAT ARE THE LONG-TERM GOALS OF
WIN?
The council is currently working on
putting together an action plan for long-
term goals. Such goals may include:
Ñ Increasing awareness and member-
ship by advocating for women in
NDT and supporting young women
entering the field.
Ñ Expanding global impact by
building a diverse and inclusive
network that serves as a model
and resource for similar councils
worldwide.
Ñ Developing industry partnerships by
establishing relationships with other
organizations to create opportunities
and resources for women in NDT.
Ñ Increasing leadership representation
by providing leadership develop-
ment programs to prepare women
for technical and executive roles.
Ñ Fostering inclusive workplace
environments by partnering with
industry stakeholders to identify
and eliminate workplace barriers for
women in NDT.
HOW CAN I SUPPORT THE OBJECTIVES
OF THE WIN COUNCIL?
You can support WIN by:
Ñ Becoming a member and partici-
pating in WIN initiatives.
Ñ Engaging in mentorship programs.
Ñ Attending future events and leader-
ship workshops.

campaigns.

The WIN Council is open to anyone who
