The ROSEN
Group announced
the appointment
of Andreas
Opfermann
as CEO, effec-
tive 1 July. He
succeeds interim CEO Erik Cornelissen,
who is transitioning into the new role of
Chief Customer Officer (CCO).
Opfermann brings 18 years of execu-
tive leadership experience in the indus-
trial gas and adjacent sectors at Linde
Group, the world’s largest industrial gas
producer, where he held roles including
Executive Vice President (EVP) Americas,
EVP Global Clean Energy (focusing on
hydrogen, carbon capture, and digi-
talization), CEO of AGA AB, and Chief
Technology Officer (CTO). Prior to joining
Linde, he served 6 years at McKinsey &Co.
With extensive international experience
at the German-based Linde Group—
leading operations in the Americas,
serving as CEO of AGA (Linde’s acquired
Scandinavian division), and working
across Asia and the Middle East—he
brings deep market and customer
insight, along with a track record of
driving growth through technology lead-
ership, portfolio management, and oper-
ational improvements.
“I’m honored to become CEO of
ROSEN, a company I have followed
for many years, that stands out with
its technology and service leadership
and unique global team culture,” said
Opfermann. “ROSEN is exceptionally
well-positioned to capitalize on the many
growth opportunities as a leader in asset
integrity services, and I am excited to
serve its customers and team.”
As CCO, Cornelissen will be respon-
sible for all global market-facing activ-
ities. The role spans all product lines
and regions, with a focus on enhancing
customer service and accelerating
growth through advanced technologies
and services.
Opfermann holds a PhD in Physics
from Cambridge and will be based in
Stans, Switzerland.
