The PreAMP One offers the user maximum flexibility with the ability to define the sensor input type (single-ended or differential), gain, filter settings, and automatic sensor test burst frequency. The amplifier configuration is defined by the user through its USB port and by using a special software running on Windows 10 provided with the amplifier. The AE preamplifier can generate and send a 500 μs fixed-duration tone burst to the connected sensor. FLUKE.COM FOCAL SPOT X-RAY GENERATOR Teledyne ICM developed its first small focal spot X-ray generator. The small focal spot (1 mm) of the CP200DS generator minimizes unsharp- ness and gives clearer images, which makes it ideal for digital radiography when close X-ray shots are possible. The CP200DS is a light and powerful generator (200 kV) with a metal-ceramic tube. Its 100% duty cycle combined with its built-in multiple X-ray outputs carousel make the CP200DS a versatile generator that will adapt to a wide variety of NDT applications. TELEDYNE ICM TELEDYNEICM.COM CONTACT POINT CORROSION SCANNER A two-probe scanner developed for pitch-catch techniques, the STIX – 2 PROBE PA-CAT provides a complete AOD (axial, outside diameter) and COD (circumferential, outside diameter) solu- tion for PA-CAT inspection. Designed in partnership with Paul Holloway of Holloway NDT & Engineering Inc., PA-CAT measures metal loss at pipe supports using an innovative phased array approach. The STIX uses magnetic wheels to mount to ferrous pipes, while the various arm lengths allow the user to configure the scanner for operation on pipes 10.2 cm (4 in.) and up. JIREH JIREH.COM PORTABLE FLAT PANEL DETECTOR Thanks to its portability and large active area of 36 × 43 cm (14.1 × 16.9 in.), the new DRC 3643 NDT flat panel detector is particularly well suited for corrosion and erosion inspections on pipes. With a pixel pitch of 140 μm, the DRC 3643 NDT offers an optimal balance between fine resolution and good sensitivity for all popular NDT applications.
