Recognizing that true affiliates are partners in furthering the mission, vision, and success of the Society, the American Society for Nondestructive Testing (ASNT) has launched a new Affiliate program. The program is aimed toward manufac- turers, suppliers, consultants, and other industry organizations in the field of nondestructive testing (NDT). “The primary goal of the ASNT Affiliate Program is to strengthen our partner- ships, furthering the mission of creating a safer world by advancing scientific, engineering, and technical knowledge in the field of nondestructive testing,” said Garra Liming, ASNT Director of Marketing and Communications. “ASNT considers its top supporters to be thought leaders and contributors who, through their innovation and expertise, shape the future of the NDT profession.” The ASNT Affiliate Program recognizes organizations that support ASNT through investments in three pillars: member- ship, print and digital advertising, and event sponsorship. To be recognized as an Affiliate, the organization must invest in at least two categories and meet the investment thresholds detailed within each level. The Affiliate level is calculated based on the organization’s annual invest- ment into the Society. Group membership is organized into four tiers, based on the number of employees within the company (2 to 5 6 to 10 11 to 20 and more than 20). Group membership rates can be viewed on asnt.org. Advertising and event spon- sorship packages vary in scope and price. “For those organizations that have been involved with ASNT for some time, they may be familiar with the former Corporate Partner program or ASNT Partner Program,” said Liming. “We want to ensure we create meaningful connections with our Affiliates and have expanded the program to allow for more customization to meet their business goals and objectives.” SCOPE ASNT LAUNCHES Each ASNT Affiliate level contains exclusive benefits and opportunities, such as priority points for exhibiting at the Annual Conference and receiving an advance copy of the attendee registration list. The highest level of ASNT Affiliate partnership includes opportunities to contribute to thought leadership by participating in an industry panel discussion or presenting a session at the Annual Conference. 76 M A T E R I A L S E V A L U A T I O N A P R I L 2 0 2 2
